Birmingham airport has 2 terminals. Both have an information desk, bureaux de change, ATMs, shops, duty-free stores, restaurants and bars.
Getting there by road: Birmingham International airport is 8 miles southeast of Birmingham city centre on the A45 Birmingham - Coventry main route. It is off junction 6 of the M42 with direct access from the M1, M5, M6, and M40 motorways.

Getting their on public transport: The ' Skyrail' runs to and from terminal 1 every two minutes, linking the airport to Birmingham International Train Station. Birmingham International is on the West Coast Main Line, with services from Central, Virgin and Silverlink trains. Holidayextras offer 'train plus hotel' packages.
Coaches: the airport bus station located outside terminal 1 international arrivals. Many of the national coach networks including National Express run from the airport to various destinations. Holidayextras also offer 'coach plus hotel' packages.
Airport Hotels: The airport is close to the NEC and many large hotels serve both, including the Crowne Plaza, Hilton Metropole, and the Express by Holiday Inn (all near the NEC) plus the Holiday Inn and Novotel (near the airport). Airport parking: Short, long-term parking and multi-storey facilities are available close to Terminals 1 and 2. The short stay car park is for stays of 2 hours or less. Prices are high at around £50 for 24 hours (or £2.60 for 60 minutes).
The on airport multi-storey car park is for stays of up to a week. This car park is within walking distance to the airport terminals. Expect to pay around £12 a day for this airport car park.
There is one on airport long term car park, which is a short bus ride from both terminals. Expect to pay around £7 a day and allow 15 - 20 minutes for the transfer.
Off airport car parks are slightly further from the airport. You should allow around 30 minutes for your transfer to the airport. Off airport car parks are: airparks, APH and flyaway parking.
There are spaces for disabled people (orange badge holders) in the on airport short stay car park and motorcycles are free in this car park.
